Summit to showcase new health products

Middle East Health and Fitness Summit 2009 (MEFIT 09) will present the latest state-of-the-art and sophisticated innovations in health, fitness and well being, a statement said.
The sixth annual event for fitness enthusiasts and professionals will take place in Dubai between April 22 and 25 at the Meadows Hayya Club.
In the exhibition/super gym arena there will be interactive displays and demonstrations of equipment for gyms and home training equipment, as well as the latest lines in health spas, nutrition and diet products and the new trends in active fashion, footwear and accessories.
MEFIT 09 will provide a stimulating framework for education and demonstration of an array of activities for all levels of ability including group exercise classes with world renowned international presenters and fitness clubs that combines activities and healthy living awareness developed for schools and families.
Demonstrations of the latest equipment, sports products, nutritional advice, showcasing the latest in active fashion and accessories and offering fitness courses from dance to altitude training are also planned for the event.
The business summit is aimed at leisure professionals and will be presented by international experts Lesley Aitkin and Andy Jackson. The program is designed to build and develop businesses strategies, with sessions such as “Down but not Out”. There will also be a personal training summit with course leaders Ian O’Dywer and Douglas Heel
The four-day extravaganza will also offer an array of competitions with chances to win fabulous prizes ranging from hampers, bicycles, beauty kits and vouchers from health and fashion brands. The aim is to provide something for the whole family to enjoy.
