Beiersdorf Middle East, trademark owner of leading skin care and beauty brand Nivea, honoured its UAE distributor NMC Trading with its prestigious “Partner of the Year Award”.

The award ceremony was part of the 23rd annual Middle East Conference held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

“In our first full year as an affiliate company of the Beiersdorf Group for the Middle East, Levant and West Asia, we have achieved a remarkable 47 per cent net sales growth over 2006. This would not have been possible without the commitment and dedication shown by our distributors, of which NMC in the UAE stood out,” said Beiersdorf Middle East CEO and managing director Robert Taylor-Hughes.

In line with the opening of Beiersdorf Middle East in Dubai, NMC had established a dedicated company within its group, looking exclusively after the distribution of Nivea and other popular brands from the company’s product portfolio.
