Global experts attend Dubai benchmarking forum
DUBAI, December 27, 2015
Benchmarking and business excellence experts and speakers from nine countries took part in the recently held ninth International Benchmarking Conference in Dubai, UAE.
Delegates from Germany, UK, New Zealand, Australia, India, Philippines, Canada, Singapore and the UAE addressed the issues and best practices related to innovation, sustainability and benchmarking at the event hosted by Dubai Quality Group (DQG) in association with Global Benchmarking Network (GBN).
Dubai Cooperation for Ambulance Servicer participated in the conference, presenting its MAMA ambulance service, which focuses on the needs of pregnant women and consists of an entire team of women staff, from ambulance drivers to paramedics, which was a winner at the 4th International Best Practice Competition.
Dubai Statistics Center presented on how they are learning from best practices “to identify, develop and implement best practices in Innovation Management to improve its processes and services”.
Finalists for the GBN’s 2015 International Benchmarking Award presented their best practices at the conference. The companies that participated included YES Bank (India), Global Indian International School (Singapore), Al Jazeera Catering International (Abu Dhabi) and The Medical City (Philippines).
The Medical City was named as the winning company, and Teresa Bagaman, head of Network Quality Management at The Medical City received the trophy.
