GEMS Education students create largest human sentence

More than 6,900 GEMS Education students from 35 schools across UAE came together to mark the UAE's 44th National Day by forming the 'World's Largest Human Sentence.'
Validated by Guinness World Records officials, the students gathered together on the sports field of GEMS Modern Academy in Dubai, to form the human sentence as teachers guided them to their positions, said a statement.
Dino Varkey, group executive director and board member, GEMS Education, said: “The UAE National Day commemorates the historic union of the seven emirates.
"It is indeed the perfect time to celebrate the great achievements of the nation under the visionary leadership of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
“We want to thank our parents, teachers, students and the authorities for their support and enthusiasm in creating such a memorable occasion.”
The previous record of 6,262 people was set by the Tiens Group of China on May 8, the statement added. - TradeArabia News Service
