Napco donates school uniforms to Dar Al Atta’a
DUBAI, August 18, 2015
National Aluminium Products Company (Napco), a leading extruder of aluminum profiles in the GCC, has donated complete sets of school uniforms to Dar Al Atta’a for the 2015/2016 academic year.
Napco's active support to the Oman-based charity organisation is in line with its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, said a statement.
The two sets of school uniforms were recently distributed to 125 kids across the country, it said.
The programme was organised under Dar Al Atta’a’s Education Care Division. The ages of the student beneficiaries varied from grades one to 12.
Aside from the uniform set, the children were also provided with various other educational provisions such as school bags and stationery.
The students will be putting their new supplies to use in the coming weeks as Classes 1 to 11 are set to start on August 23, with Class 12 to commence in the following two weeks.
Robert Holtkamp, chief executive officer, said: “It is an honour to be in partnership with Dar Al Atta’a in this program. We commend the charity organisation for its tireless efforts to enhance and empower people through their wide range of projects.
"We are especially eager to support Dar Al Atta’a in their educational initiatives, which complement our CSR objectives and its strong emphasis on providing academic assistance to children.
"We believe that ensuring the proper instruction of the youth is essential to establishing a sustainable future and we are committed to doing all in our power to positively contribute to this cause.” - TradeArabia News Service
