Bahrain to build 10 new schools

MANAMA, May 24, 2015

Bahrain plans to build 10 new schools over the next three years, Education Minister Dr Majid Al Nuaimi said yesterday.

He said 11,000 new students are expected to start their schooling next year, reported the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

The ministry is working to improve the school environment and upgrade its infrastructure, Dr Al Nuaimi said in an interview with Bahrain News Agency.

It is also processing 31 applications to open private schools, he said. Inspections of private schools in Bahrain are carried out throughout the school year to ensure quality education, he pointed out. – TradeArabia News Service
