IISS names new managing director for Mideast

MANAMA, April 7, 2015

Bahraini Katadah Abdul Hameed Zaman has been appointed as the new managing director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Middle East branch, located in Manama, Bahrain.

The UK-based think tank announced the appointment yesterday (April 6), said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Zaman has a degree in aviation marketing management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida and more than 14 years of management experience in both the public and private sectors.

He has also worked with the Bahrain Economic Development Board in a number of roles including investor relations, events, protocol and project management, in addition to working on economic and labour market reforms. - TradeArabia News Service
