MANAMA, September 9, 2014

Issues facing expatriate Indians, such as wages and living conditions, will be the focus of a meeting next month.

Indian lawyers in GCC countries including Bahrain will meet India's External Affairs and Overseas Indian Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in Delhi on a date yet to be confirmed, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Global Association of Indian Legal Professionals Bahrain chapter president Latheesh Bharathan, T P Surendran and Saju Osias presented their meeting agenda to Swaraj during her visit to Bahrain this week.

Swaraj was in Bahrain to attend the India Diaspora Engagement Meet on September 6 and 7 at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence and Spa. - TradeArabia News Service
