Getex to feature 2,500 academic programmes

Dubai, April 8, 2014

A diverse selection of over 2,500 academic, training and vocational programmes from some of the leading universities and academic institutions worldwide will be featured at Getex Spring 2014 opening in Dubai tomorrow (April 9).

The 26th edition of the show will run until April 11 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The event will also feature an interactive Counsellors Forum and a series of informative Seminars for enthusiastic visitors who will visit the show as their one-stop to locate the best education and training options.

For those looking to study abroad in pursuit of higher education, Getex will showcase some of the world’s leading education destinations including Australia, Canada, Cyprus, Europe, France, India, Malaysia, Switzerland, Turkey, the UK and the US, among others.

The large-scale and comprehensive education Exhibition will also enable students and their parents to compare university rankings, fee structures, timelines, education funding options etc., all under one roof.

As the leading student recruitment event in the region, Getex Spring 2014, offers a highly effective platform for education providers to achieve their student admission targets. A regular feature of the show, the open forum seminars at the 3-day event will be a vital marketing gateway for exhibitors to network with their target audience and tap into the ballooning student populations in the Middle East.

Anselm Godinho, managing director at event organisers International Conferences and Exhibitions (IC&E) said: “With the UAE fast emerging as an up and coming destination for foreign education providers and investors, Getex continues to reinstate its relevance within the region’s very dynamic education market.

“This year, we host more than 350 universities and educational institutions worldwide, offering over 2,500 featured programs to an expected 35,000 visitors. In a market where face to face interaction with education providers is key for people, the Exhibition works on a success formula of directly connecting students with representatives from colleges, universities and training institutes, enabling them to enquire about their requirements with regard to campuses, courses, fees, enrollment policies and so forth,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
