AUS Kuwait students to get ThinkPad tablets

The American University School (AUS) in Kuwait is set to equip its students with the ThinkPad Tablet 2 from Lenovo, in the academic year starting September.

The 10.1-inch tablet features 10-hour battery life and weighs less than 600 gm. It includes Windows 8 and its applications and offers five-finger multi-touch technologies, said a statement.

Its full size USB port will enable students to connect to a variety of external devices in addition to wireless accessed devices. Students will also receive a case and a dockable keyboard, it said.
