Cass Dubai opens March intake for EMBA
Dubai, November 11, 2012
The Cass Dubai Centre, part of City University London, has introduced a second intake of Executive MBA (EMBA) students in March.
Currently the EMBA programme admits a new class once a year in September.
“We are delighted to be able to meet the demand for our EMBA programme in Dubai by adding an extra start date for students. This reflects not only on the strength of the programme itself, but also on the ambition of our students and the importance of executive programmes in the region in general,” said course director Professor Roy Batchelor.
Ehsan Razavizadeh, regional director for Mena, Cass Dubai Centre, said: “The March intake gives our programme that extra flexibility for prospective students. This is especially important when you consider the individual circumstances of many of our students.”
“These are professionals – many of whom are working full-time - some with young families and many flying in from places including GCC, Georgia, Singapore and Azerbaijan ¬- on a monthly basis to attend our weekend teaching workshops.
“This is a big commitment for them and we’re delighted to be able to provide both a choice of when they start and six new scholarships,” Razavizadeh added.
Kevin Birkett, managing director of Business Development at DIFC Authority, said: “We would like to welcome Cass’s second programme of EMBA students. Part of DIFC’s mandate is to contribute to the development and growth of the financial sector in the region and to UAE’s economy.”
“DIFC supports educational programmes that help to develop knowledgeable, experienced and talented professionals and the Cass programme complements this mandate. We look forward to congratulating the new intake on their successful completion of the programme to their future contribution to the growth of the regional financial services industry,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
