Morgan, AUT to offer certified courses
Halat, Lebanon, August 18, 2011
Morgan International, which represents leading universities, and the American University of Technology (AUT) in Halat have teamed up provide access to certified designations to students in Lebanon.
Morgan International and AUT will offer internationally recognized designations in accounting, finance and human resources, among others.
While students will have the opportunity to offset their AUT university degree with a certified designation, professionals located in rural areas near the campus will also have the chance to pursue a designation that previously would have only been available to them within closer proximity to Beirut.
Access to the designation courses will not only provide an opportunity to individuals, but also to underdeveloped areas of the country. Thanks to more accessible professional education, these areas will finally have the chance to grow and develop alongside the skill sets of their residents, a statement said.
“We believe that professional education is a gateway to more choices and greater opportunities to succeed in launching a fulfilling career,” said Ahmad Mkhallati, Executive Director of Morgan International.
“Education is often the answer to overcoming many social and economic hurdles, to be able to reach higher and achieve dreams.”
At AUT, registration for all programs begins at the start of the 2012 spring term. All courses will be held on the AUT campus at evening hours convenient for both working professionals and students.
Morgan International will process course registration, provide course instructors and materials, and assist in organising final examinations for candidates to receive their official designation. – TradeArabia News Service
