AMA university opens in-campus art gallery

AMA International University, Bahrain recently opened its in-campus art gallery, which will showcase hand-painted oil on canvas paintings of the university’s Humanities students.
The collection of oil paintings will have various themes like abstract, still life, landscape and religion.
Through the art gallery, the university aims to emphasise on the dynamic role students can play in activating and supporting Bahrain’s movement for preserving its cultural heritage through art.
“The art gallery was able to draw attention from the students and staff to explore more collections for inspiration, learning and enjoyment,” said Dr Lani Palatino, dean of Centre for General Education who spearheaded the putting up of art gallery.-TradeArabia News Service
