MBRF eyes partnership with Sharjah Chamber

Dubai, July 5, 2010

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoumn Foundation (MBRF) held discussions on potential cooperation with a delegation from the Youth Business Group of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) recently.

Discussions focused on cooperation in the area of entrepreneurship and how to encourage young people to take part in the economic growth through establishing and managing their own businesses.

“The Entrepreneurship Development Sector at the MBRF is aimed at developing future leaders and creating a knowledge-based society by promoting business excellence, empowering Arab entrepreneurs to innovate and facilitating job creation in the region,” stated Sultan Lootah, executive director for Entrepreneurship at the MBRF.

“We have exchanged our views on how to motivate youth in the UAE to develop their businesses and establish new ones which will benefit the local economy,” he added.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation has tied up with several local and Arab institutions to devise programmes that help build a stronger knowledge-base and skill-set, and develop a generation that is equipped with the ability to face the challenges of sustainable development in the Arab World.-TradeArabia News Service
