SunGard Higher Education has appointed Matt Mandalinci as president and chief customer officer, reporting to chief executive officer Ron Lang.

Mandalinci will oversee global marketing, sales and services, and will be responsible for the customer experience from developing prospects through sustaining loyalty with long-time customers.

He most recently served as president of SunGard’s Energy Solutions business, a leading provider of energy trading, transaction and risk management solutions, within SunGard Financial Systems.

In addition, Jack Kramer has been named as senior vice president of customer satisfaction, another new role focused on helping customers succeed. Kramer has been with the company for more than 20 years.
