Bahrain-based Infovision Consultants (Icon) and Science and Knowledge Consultancy and Training Company (SKCTC) of Saudi Arabia, have partnered to promote knowledge economies in the GCC.

Under the agreement, Icon and SKCTC will promote each other's training programs in their countries and share their professional resources and expertise for both corporate and public sector clients.

“The Saudi Market in training and consultancy is booming and maturing. Market needs international courses which also comply with local culture and norms,” said Dr Saleh A Sonbul, president and CEO of Science and Knowledge Consultancy and Training Center.

“Icon partnering with SKCTC, leading Saudi training and consulting company, will give opportunity to regional companies to benefit from the rich expertise and exposure Icon carries in International Management Systems and Management Best Practices like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, ISO 17025, OHSAS 18001, ISO 20000, ISO 27000, BS 25999, BRC, Six Sigma, and Balanced Scorecard,” added Mobin Sheikh, director at Infovision Consultants.

Together both companies are planning to organise short term and long-term training programs in Mena. The courses offered will carry international acceptance and certificates will come from internationally accreditated training companies. All courses offered under this agreement will be subsidised from 'Global Quality Professionals Council – www.gqpc.org'.
