MBRCLD to organise study tour

Dubai, April 30, 2009

Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development (MBRCLD) is organising a study tour for participants of Promising Leaders Program, to be held in Singapore and China.

The latest edition of the Dubai Opening (DO) Study Tour will be held in association with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, and is designed to provide an intensive learning experience about public policymaking and management practices in Singapore and China.

MBRCLD has prepared several high-level discussions and meetings with leaders of international companies and organisations as well as senior government officials, as part of efforts to enhance the participants' knowledge and expertise in international relations and governance.

Specifically, the DO Study Tour will assist participants in understanding how policy makers deal with the impact of the global financial crisis and sustain their development initiatives.

'Singapore and China are among the key economic players in the Asian region and in the whole world, thus the DO Study Tour will definitely be a very enlightening and informative experience for the Promising Leaders level participants,' said Adel Al Shared, executive chairman, MBRCLD.

This is the second round of the 'Dubai Opening' as there was an educational tour for members of 'Elite Program', earlier this year to Singapore.-TradeArabia News Service
