As part of their end of the year academic activities within the campus, French Fashion University - Esmod - hosted a fashion show “Art & Fashion” at its Dubai Campus in Dubai Academic City.

“Since Esmod could not participate in the Dubai Fashion Week, we decided to organise an in-house fashion. This show has been a fantastic opportunity for students to exhibit their creations,” said director of Esmod Tamara Hostal.

On the theme ‘Art and Fashion’ students elaborated stunning intricate and delicate. As art has always been a great source of inspiration for designers, students discovered and analysed classic, modern and contemporary artists, they practiced different techniques and mediums, and then proposed their own interpretation of an art piece of their choice by actually creating a new one, followed by the transposition of their creations onto a garment.

Up to 60 students from 27 nationalities showcased their creations following months of hard work, dedication and professional training.
