U21Global forays into Saudi Arabia
Dubai, March 16, 2008
U21Global, the world’s premier online graduate school, has announced plans to enter Saudi Arabia, the Middle East’s largest market, as part of its regional expansion plans.
The step is being taken in partnership with ExecuTrain, a world leader in business education training with extensive knowledge and experience in the Saudi market.
U21Global will market its full suite of postgraduate education programmes for individuals and blended executive learning solutions for corporations through ExecuTrain, which has been operating in Saudi Arabia since 1997.
It has an excellent reputation for providing quality business education and corporate training programmes.
“This partnership represents a significant step forward for U21Global in our commitment to bringing the best in executive education to the GCC market and doing so in a way that is convenient and accessible to our clients,” said Bilal Sabouni, regional manager, U21Global.
“We have a large customer base of satisfied individuals and companies in the United Arab Emirates, and we now seek to expand our reach in Saudi Arabia,” he noted.
'Executives and managers who participate in our broad array of programmes learn valuable global management skills and business knowledge that can be applied immediately to real-world situations and can at times deliver instantaneous returns on investment.'
'Given the scale of market liberalisations and global competition, this is particularly important for companies in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC,' Sabouni added.
Khaled Addoweesh, general manager, ExecuTrain of Saudi Arabia, said, 'Together we will capitalise on ExecuTrain’s already established learning programmes, our market knowledge and our client base to offer a new type of educational service in the Kingdom.”
U21Global’s programmes draw upon best practices in online learning and are dedicated to providing unmatched learning outcomes. All programmes offer engaging, media-rich courseware; value-added, collaborative student interactions, and facilitation by distinguished faculty.
In 2007, Saudi Arabia was the second largest GCC market for U21Global, even though the online university had no direct presence in the Kingdom.-TradeArabia News Service
