Tatweer outlines strategy

Sharjah Tatweer Forum recently unveiled its strategy and plans for the coming period between 2007-09.

“Tatweer” is an initiative launched to boost the involvement and influence of Sharjah’s young talents for encouraging competitiveness in the public and private sectors.

The forum was formed under a decree issued by Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah and Member of the UAE Supreme Council and the honorary Chairman of Tatweer.

The forum's future plans were discussed at a meeting held for its members at the Supreme Council for Family Affairs.

The members focused on enhancing networking among the emirate’s young leaders and also hailed the importance of private -public sector partnership in Sharjah’s socio-economic development.

The gathering promised to take steps to boost interactivity between private and public sector organisations in order to achieve sustainable development in the emirate.

Chairman Hussain Al Mahmoudi said the forum would focus on developing a world-class pool of young talents who will enhance the sustainable development of the Sharjah.

'Future plans of Tatweer will include an ambitious research and development program that will enable the forum to adopt best practices in the fields of scientific research, technology and the environment,' he added. TradeArabia News Service
