Bahrain discusses China trade ties

Bahrain Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received officials representing leading Chinese companies and discussed co-operation in construction, infrastructure, road networks and bridges and causeways.
The high-level delegation is in Bahrain to study economic activities, investments and laws.
It will hold a series of meetings with officials from Housing and Works ministries, the Tender Board, Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company and representatives of the private sector.
A session of talks will also be held with Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry to explore the possibility of setting up joint ventures.
Finance Ministry Under-Secretary Aref Salah Khamis, Chinese Ambassador Yang Weiguo and other officials attended.-TradeArabia News Service
