400 Taiwani firms set for Bahrain expo

More than 400 Taiwanese companies are taking part in a trade exhibition, that will cover products and services from a wide range of sectors, at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry's (BCCI) Beit Al Tijjar tower.
The event is being hosted by BCCI in co-operation with the Taiwan Trade Centre in Dubai and the Trade Mission of Taiwan to Bahrain. The exhibition opens at 8.30am and runs until 6pm at Pioneers Hall.
BCCI chief executive officer Ebrahim Ahmed Al Lengawi has invited all members, merchants and business owners to take part in this exhibition, which will present opportunities for collaboration between the two countries particularly in regard to trading of commodities and products.
He said there was a large segment of consumers of Taiwanese products in the kingdom, adding that this exhibition is a good opportunity for merchants and business owners to identify possible and future opportunities for trade and investment.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to access the many products and services that are being offered by the Taiwanese participants.
'The main objective of this show is to promote globally competitive Taiwanese products in Bahrain,' said Taiwan Trade Mission representative Paul Y F Hsu.
'There is bright potential for Taiwanese products in Bahrain. This is also a convenient way for Bahrain buyers to save travelling time and the cost of visiting suppliers in Taiwan.'
'For buyers who cannot come to Taiwan the catalogues on display at this show provide an ideal platform for them to find suitable suppliers of targeted products in an efficient way, Hsu said.
'The quality of Taiwan products is superior and the price is fair in the global markets,' he added.-TradeArabia News Service
