Bahrain’s non-governmental organisations will be able to register online, said a senior government official.

Human Rights and Social Development Minister and acting Health Minister Dr Fatima Al Balooshi said the service would soon be launched via the ministry’s portal social.go.bh.
It is in line with National Dialogue recommendations under the civil society theme.

The ministry has developed the system over the last two years.

“Bahrain is the first in the world to use hi-tech extranet technology to provide it,” Dr Al Balooshi said. – TradeArabia News Service
