KFH-Bahrain hosts Bipa delegates

Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain recently hosted a group of 15 delegates from the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (Bipa) who are currently taking part in its leadership development programme.
The Bipa's Induction to Senior Civil Service (ISCS) programme aims to develop and enhance the management, leadership and entrepreneurial skills of future leaders of Bahrain’s government sector.
Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, managing director and CEO of KFH-Bahrain addressed the delegates, which comprises directors from various ministries and government entities across the Kingdom and spoke about the importance of ‘Entrepreneurial Skills & the Role of the Public Sector Leader in National Development.’
Alkhayyat said the wise leadership of Bahrain has developed the 'National Vision 2030," which will take its citizens, the economy and the Kingdom into the next stage of growth and development.
"It is now incumbent upon both the private sector and public sector leaders to ensure that this vision and the vast potential that exists in Bahrain is effectively harnessed and directed towards maximising the productively, prosperity and position of the Kingdom as a strong and well diversified economy and as a leading financial and business hub in the region,” he remarked.
The session went on to focus on ways to shape and influence public sector leaders in their roles and their approach to achieving the "National Vision 2030" through the adoption of greater levels of self-initiative and entrepreneurship at all levels, across all areas of the government.
On its ongoing support for Bipa, Alkhayyat said, “KFH-Bahrain continues to work hand in hand with the government of Bahrain to further build economy and develop key sectors within it. This includes co-operation with organizations such as Bipa, which help to ensure public sector leaders are equipped with the necessary skills, resources and support in order to make a positive contribution to the economy and our communities."
"Entrepreneurial thinking and leadership are the engines of growth in all economies and we are delighted to continue our support for the development of the next generation of Bahraini leaders from the government sector," he added.
KFH-Bahrain previously hosted 25 participants of Bipa’s ISCS leadership development programme last May at Durrat Al Bahrain, the Kingdom’s leading resort city and one of the largest projects in Bahrain developed and owned by KFH-Bahrain and the government of Bahrain.-TradeArabia News Service
