Saudi money supply growth slows to 5.6pc in Feb

The annual growth in Saudi Arabia's M3 money supply, an indicator of future inflation, slowed to 5.6 per cent in February from 8.3 per cent in January, central bank data showed on Wednesday.

Bank claims on the private sector rose to SR742.1 billion ($197.6 billion) in February, from SR735.6 billion in January, and SR730.7 billion in February, 2009, the data showed. – Reuters
