Manama, March 23, 2008

Bahrain Businesswomen Society (BBS) will organise a presentation on the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) on Tuesday.

It is being held in co-operation with The Businesswomen Committee of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) at BCCI conference hall.

The presentation is second in a series of eight events held under the Speakers Bureau Programme 2008, which includes small-scale workshops to major conference.

It is part of the Mena Businesswomen's Network programme, held in Mena countries, organised by the Middle East Partnership Initiative of the US State Department and co-ordinated by Vital Voices.

The objective of the programme is to empower the businesswomen in the Mena region by enhancing the capabilities and number of organisations that serve them by establishing a region-wide hub network.

The programme is organised by Bahrain Horizon. The event, from 6pm to 8pm, is sponsored by LMRA, Ernst & Young, Khaleeji Commercial Bank, Al Ayam and Bahrain Tribune.-TradeArabia News Service
