Oman, Lanka sign trade MoU

Oman and Sri Lanka have signed a memorandum of understanding to boost bilateral trade and investment co-operation.

The MoU also calls for establishing strong economic relations among businessmen and trade bodies in the two countries, exchange expertise and participate in exhibitions being organised by both sides, reported Oman Daily Observer.

The MoU was signed during Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) chairman Khalil bin Abdullah Al Khunji’s meeting with a Sri Lankan trade delegation.

They also discussed co-operation in various sectors, activation of trade exchange and benefiting from the Sri Lankan experience in education, accounting and IT.
