BFH open for business
Manama, July 5, 2007
The Bahrain Financial Harbour (BFH) is officially open for business following the arrival of Servcorp.
Servcorp is a virtual office company, which will conduct the daily office duties for a multitude of clients that hold and conduct their offices within Servcorp.
"The BFH is the most prestigious address in Bahrain and for Servcorp it has always been important to provide our clients with an advantage. There is no development similar in Bahrain," senior manager Laudy Lahdo said.
"Our office in Dubai is located in the Emirates Tower, possibly the most prestigious location there and we plan to expand further in the region, with another office in Doha, Qatar."
Australia-based Servcorp supplies clients with offices for companies that require office space and do not have their own office staff.
"Rather than lease space out, Servcorp supplies clients with a team that will answer calls and be the staff of your personal company, as well as adding the highest level of IT infrastructure including a video conference capable boardroom, IP telephony and other services, all inside the Servcorp office," she said.
The benefit of this system is to allow one or two person run businesses the infrastructure they need to run their business in the most efficient and cost effective way.
Companies currently using Servcorp's services include UK-based law firm, Charles Russell, UK-based specialist development managers, Sparco, CK institute of finance from Bahrain and Al Kabeer financial advisors from Saudi Arabia. "Clients often outgrow Servcorp, and a few companies that are currently using Servcorp's services are expecting to move into a floor of their own in the BFH," Lahdo said. TradeArabia News Service
