More than 400 exhibitors will showcase their expertise at Saudi Infrastructure Expo.

Saudi Infrastructure Expo doubles in size

Saudi Infrastructure Expo, which stakes claim to being the only event covering the full spectrum of systems and infrastructure needed for the creation of smart cities and utilities in Saudi Arabia, looks poised to double in size when it opens its doors in Riyadh from September 24 to 26.
 
The event will be staged at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center under the patronage of Prince Dr Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Mayor of Riyadh Region and Chairman of the Board of Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center (RIPC).
 
The third edition of Saudi Infrastructure Expo is being held in collaboration with RIPC and will see the participation of more than 400 local and international exhibitors operating in the infrastructure industry from more than 35 countries, according to dmg events, the organiser of the show.
 
Commenting on the collaboration with the event, Eng Fahad Al Badah, CEO of RIPC, said: “The collaboration with dmg events for Saudi Infrastructure Expo will significantly support Vision 2030 objectives by driving economic growth and enhancing Riyadh’s infrastructure capabilities as well as contributing to the sustainable development of Saudi Arabia to create a prosperous and diversified economy.”

As Saudi Arabia continues to experience an infrastructure boom, the event plays an important role in highlighting the kingdom’s progress and future plans. It will focus on the extensive transformation across various sectors, including transportation, planning and construction of utilities, urban development and smart cities, which are crucial to achieving Vision 2030.
 
With over $1 trillion earmarked for infrastructure projects, the kingdom is making unprecedented strides in modernising its cities, improving connectivity and enhancing the quality of life for its citizens, dmg events stated.
 
Some of the top local exhibitors presenting their expertise in the industry include RIPC, alfanar, First Fix, OSP, Amiantit, Al-Ayuni, JDCO, Ajlan & Bros, Akel and Buna Holding.
 
International exhibitors will bring expertise and cutting-edge products, systems, services and solutions across 12 different country pavilions. These include China, Egypt, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Qatar, Spain, Türkiye, US, UK and UAE. The international companies exhibiting at the event are ABB, Hassan Allam Holding, Andritz, Cambi, GI Aqua Tech, Tata Communications, LG Chem, Veolia, Wilo and Victaulic, among others.
 
 
Saudi Infrastructure Summit
 
As part of Saudi Infrastructure Expo, Saudi Infrastructure Summit will feature comprehensive discussions on the latest trends, challenges and opportunities in the infrastructure industry and will be attended by government officials and public and private sector industry leaders.
 
Saudi Infrastructure Summit will present strategic discussions involving ministries, policy makers, investors and industry leaders. Some of the highly anticipated sessions include a ministerial panel discussing the collaborative efforts between the government entities to drive collective progress in turning the kingdom’s infrastructure vision into reality. Richard De La Mer, Vice President, Project Management Office, Parsons; Sherif Bialy, Director of Infrastructure and Asset Development, Neom Mobility; Muhammad Abdullah Alqahtani, Executive Vice President, Sports Boulevard Foundation; and Robbie McBartney, Executive Director, Infrastructure, Roshn, will highlight ways to improve integrated planning and project coordination in a panel moderated by Paul Pring, Executive Director, Managing Director, Bittaford Consulting.
 
Saudi Infrastructure Expo will also host the Infra360 talks sessions, which is open to all visitors. Speakers will provide technical knowledge and practical insights focused on the infrastructure industry. Discussions will include digital solutions and business intelligence in managing infrastructure projects led by Eng Abdullah Ali Al-Asmari, Acting Vice-President of Digital Services & Data Intelligence, RIPC; as well as a guide for road quality improvement projects in Riyadh by Eng Abdullah Muhammad Al-Bakr, Director of Neighbourhoods Integration, RIPC.

Running as an extension of the infrastructure exhibitions’ series, Smart Cities Saudi Expo is poised to make its debut and complement the nation’s urban development strategies by showcasing innovative and intelligent solutions for smart city development.
