Southern Province Cement to award contract for new Saudi plant

Southern Province Cement Company has announced that it will soon award the contract for the establishment of a production line at its Jazan factory with a 10,000 tonnes per day capacity.
The move comes following the completion of the study of technical and financial offers from bidding companies.
Work is underway to draft and review the contract, which will be signed after completing the necessary procedures, stated Southern Province Cement in its filing to the Saudi bourse Tadawul.
The new production line is set to replace the existing one, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
