Conex Bänninger, a global leader in the design and manufacture of fittings, valves and accessories, is showcasing its extensive product range at The Big 5 show in Dubai.

The company said it has developed the  >B< MaxiPro range specifically for air-conditioning and refrigeration applications.

It features Conex Bänninger’s >B< profile three-point press system for provision of a reliable, permanent and leak-free joint that can be completed more quickly than the traditional brazing method.

Also on display is the company’s user-friendly and quick-to-install >B< Press copper fittings, which have the benefit of Conex Bänninger’s leak before press indicator feature, a specially designed EPDM O-ring.

The O-ring has a reduced section in two positions causing leaks at low pressures when not pressed (from 0.1 to 5.0 bar). When the fitting is pressed the O-ring material compresses, ensuring a leak-free joint. Therefore there is no need to go to a full test pressure to check that all fittings have been pressed.
