Gemini Property Developers, a boutique real estate group based in the UAE, said it has begun the handover of units at its Dh300-million ($81.7 million) residential development - Splendor Project - at Sobha Hartland located within the Mohammed Bin Rashid City in Dubai.

The eight-storey residential building offers a built-up area of over 320,000 sq ft, which includes 134 residential units comprising spacious one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, penthouses and townhouses equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, said senior officals of Gemini Property Developers at the ongoing Cityscape Global expo in Dubai.

The company started work in 2016 on Splendor, which houses units ranging from 780 sq ft to 3,400 sq ft. The community where Gemini Splendor stands has a comprehensive retail, shopping and entertainment facilities, along with plenty of green spaces.

The Splendor at MBR City project is located at the centre of Sobha Hartland - a brand new mixed-use development located between Al Khail Road and Meydan - and is close to the downtown of the future - the massive mixed-use project that has become a major destination.

The project will border Meydan One on one side, MBR city – District One on the other and Meydan Grandstand at the backdrop, it stated.

Chairman Sudhakar Rao said: "Despite high competition and challenging times in Dubai’s real estate sector, we are delighted that we are able to fulfil on-time construction commitment to our investors. It is a big day for us."

"Since Gemini is a customer-focused developer, it gives us immense pleasure to see that our first buyer has already moved in last month and happily living in the apartment with his family," he noted.

Abdullah, a buyer and resident of Gemini Splendor in MBR City, after moving in, said: “I am grateful to the Gemini team that helped in arranging speedy handover process and shifting to my apartment. Since it is our first experience having an apartment in Dubai, we are super excited to be in a high-end Sobha Hartland community in Mohammed Bin Rashid City. The view from seventh floor is amazing and the location most convenient."

At Cityscape Dubai 2018, the developer is also exhibiting the new 29-storey ‘Symphony’ project in Dubai’s Business Bay. The project is the second of a series of high-end luxury residential projects planned by the developer, after the 100 per cent completion of their debut Splendor at MBR City project in Sobha Hartland community.

With a built-up area of 702,000 sq ft, Symphony apartment units range from 430 sq ft to 2,900 sq ft. It will house 455 residential apartments that include studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom flats.

The ground-breaking and construction have already been commenced that is slated for completion before the Expo 2020 which begins on October 20, 2020, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
