SHARJAH, January 29, 2018

Sharjah government's Permanent Committee on Lands Allocation has approved the granting of 548 residential plots to the UAE nationals residing in the emirate, said a report.

The grants that were given the green signal included plots in various areas of the emirate, including Sharjah City, the Central Region, the Eastern Region, Kalba, Khorfakkan, Dibba Al Hisn and Al Hamriyah City, which met their requirements, reported state news agency Wam.

The panel, which recently held its meeting at the headquarters of the Sharjah Department of Planning and Survey, however rejected 63 requests as they did not meet the required conditions, stated the report citing a senior official.

Waleed bin Falah Al Mansouri, the chairman of the committee, said the members discussed the required land allocation conditions and the mechanism of distributing and withdrawing them.
