Abu Dhabi starts e-allocation of residential plots
ABU DHABI, December 9, 2017
Abu Dhabi City Municipality said it has started the allocation of 2,310 residential plots and homes online to UAE citizens listed in the Royal Decree in conjunction with the UAE National Day celebrations, said a report.
The allocation following directives from President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the orders of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and chairman of the executive council of Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM), reported stated news agency Wam.
Saif Badr Al Qubaisi, the director general of Abu Dhabi City Municipality, said these orders affirm that the UAE is continuing its approach of empowerment and stability, and striving to consolidate the values, principles and objectives of the Union highlighted by the present and future living of citizens.
The introduction of the online allocation of land plots is part of the endeavours of Urban Planning and Municipalities Department - Abu Dhabi City Municipality to achieve a quantum leap in the digital transformation of services, bring happiness to customers, fulfil their aspirations and make services accessible, he added.
The Abu Dhabi City Municipality has confirmed that it has already begun the process of allocating residential plots to citizens electronically, pointing out that there is no need for the citizens to attend to the Municipality’s headquarters to complete the allocation process, said the report.
Within ten working days, the Municipality would notify citizens who have been allocated with residential plots in order to save their effort and time, it added.
