Caparol Paints, a global leader in the paints industry, is showcasing its unique fire-resistant and super-efficient non-combustible external thermal insulation composite system (Etics) technology at the ongoing Big 5 exhibition in Dubai.

This new Etics technology has been designed to save energy and improve the climate within the buildings, said the company in a statement.

The technology, which boasts innovation, durability and longevity, substantially reduces heating and air conditioning costs by maintaining temperatures.

It is a highly-efficient system that ensures an improvement in energy efficiency of both old and new buildings once the technology is installed.

Caparol said it has been at the forefront of researching and adopting new technologies that ensure sustainability.

Through research and development along with testing the technology, Caparol Paints has been able to improve Etics. The technology creates a more sustainable environment inside structures by trapping the heat outside while maintaining the cool temperatures inside.

Commenting on the new technology, Mowaffaq Balish, the commercial director for Middle East at Caparol Paints, said: "Our latest Etics system being showcased during The Big 5 exhibition is a new, unique and improved technology that strives to benchmark sustainability as its core function."
