Kuwait's government has announced plans to launch 24 new road infrastructure projects - including major highways and bridges - at an investment of KD4 billion ($13.2 billion) over the next few years, said a report.

Currently, work on 25 highways and bridges projects worth KD2.59 million are under way, reported the state news agency Kuna, citing a senior government official.
