MANAMA, September 14, 2017
GFH Properties, the real estate arm of Bahrain-based GFH Financial Group, said it has joined leading property show Bipex as the strategic partner for the 2017 edition to be held in Manama next month.
The event will run from October 26 to 28 under the patronage of His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khaled bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
GFH Properties, a market leader in the real estate sector, currently has a rich portfolio of multiple landmark projects known for excellence and innovation. It has originated some of Bahrain’s most iconic projects and further expanded its footprint across the GCC markets.
Currently, a number of its projects are under way in Dubai and in the group’s home base of Bahrain. These include the Harbour Row and Harbour Walk developments at the Bahrain Financial Harbour and the Dubai-based gated community California Village, said a statement from the company.
In addition, GFH’s other key projects include the flagship development Villamar @ the Harbour where works are progressing steadily.
Each of these mixed-use development projects offer an exclusive sense of luxury and reflect GFH’s deep commitment to raising the bar in terms of excellence in design, build and usability.
Commenting on the move, Majed Al Khan, the chief executive of GFH Properties, said: "We are once again pleased this year to announce GFH’s support and role as the lead sponsor for Bipex 2017. As a significant investor and leading developer in Bahrain, we are committed to promoting the immense opportunities that exist in the kingdom's real estate sector and particularly in the world-class projects that GFH is currently developing in the heart of Manama at the iconic, waterfront Bahrain Financial Harbour."
"We look forward to the opportunity to showcase our projects and help local buyers and investors and those from across the region better understand the market and the value that is on offer in Bahrain," he noted.
"As a group, our ongoing investments and new development activities in Bahrain reflect our strong belief and confidence in the market and in the country’s economy as well as in our own ability to deliver unique and high quality offerings for investors and end users," he added.
Mohammed Khalil Alsayed, the chairman of the Bipex organising committee, said GFH has been supporting the event for several years and its presence in Bipex is an added value to the exhibition.
"We want Bipex to be their first preferred platform to reach out to the right audience and also showcase their promising outlook for our economy," he added.
The event is being organised by the Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE), a premier body representing engineering professionals in the kingdom.
The organisation was established in 1972 as a professional voluntary non-profit organization. It seeks to advance the engineering profession, while striving for continuous skill enhancements through training and the conducting of technical and professional development programmes.-TradeArabia News Service
