Farnek wins FM deal for Abu Dhabi villa compound
DUBAI, August 21, 2017
UAE-based Farnek, a top facilities management (FM) company, has been awarded a one-year FM contract for the upmarket Al Rabiah development in Khalifa City A, managed by First Gulf Properties and consisting of 62 three-, four- and five-bedroom family villas.
The contract, which starts immediately, will utilise Farnek’s specialised support services covering all mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) requirements, and will include general cleaning, waste management, pest control, management of the defects liability period (DLP) and swimming pool cleaning. A dedicated team of Farnek employees will also be on site to provide lifeguard services, gym instruction, concierge duties and other soft FM services.
“Rental rates for a five-bedroom villa start from Dh230,000 ($62,600) per annum denoting a certain element of exclusivity which is sure to be popular with expat families. We anticipate this community will be extremely popular with senior executives and their families thanks to the combination of the safe and clean environment and the extensive range of modern facilities on offer,” said Markus Oberlin, CEO, Farnek.
“Our reputation has been built on our commitment and ability to deliver quality services and expertise in both core FM services as well as energy saving and waste management, something community managers and residents alike are demanding alongside more traditional MEP services,” added Oberlin.
The compound encompasses 62 high-end residential villa units and will include an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and a tennis court. The development is just a short walk from Etihad Plaza, where a range of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets, are all on offer.
Other notable real estate contract wins in Abu Dhabi include the FM and MEP services for 385 villas and staff accommodation for Al Forsan Real Estate; Abu Dhabi General Services Company’s Musanda project; First Gulf Properties Al Zeina development and the Nalaya compound in Reem Island; the East and West Tower projects by Al Saqr Properties; Al Bateen by Aldar Properties. – TradeArabia News Service
