Al Ghurair partners with Swiss glass door maker
DUBAI, May 31, 2017
UAE-based Al Ghurair Construction has tied up with Sky-Frame, a major Swiss producer of frameless glass sliding door and window systems, to become the exclusive supplier of its innovative seamless glass solutions in the Middle East.
A part of UAE-based diversified industrial conglomerate Al Ghurair, the company said Sky-Frame's unique glass products have netted the company several industry and corporate awards since its inception, thus enabling it to become the go-to name among design-oriented leaders in architecture.
True to its brand promise “A view, not a window”, the Swiss premium product featuring frameless and large-format glass panels makes possible the fusion of indoors and outdoors into a unique living space, according to Al Ghurair Construction.
Additionally, the firm sets new standards in technology as it strives to develop new innovative solutions in cooperation with universities and research institutes, it stated.
On the key partnership, Badr Abdulla Al Ghurair, the chief executive of Al Ghurair Construction, said: "We at Al Ghurair are always on the lookout for groundbreaking solutions that result in highly distinctive and aesthetic projects for our customers."
"The company has always been involved in building the UAE and our exclusive partnership with Sky-Frame is yet another step towards creating masterful residences and commercial properties that further develop the nation’s architectural landscape, remarked Al Ghurair.
Al Ghurair Construction, he stated, has completed its first UAE project, Muraba Residences on the Palm Jumeirah, which integrates Sky-Frame as a core element of its structural design.
"Featuring just 46 apartments and four penthouses, the development has become an architectural gem on one of the most prestigious addresses in the city of Dubai, boasting bright, naturally-lit living spaces that offer unparalleled views of the stunning islands," remarked Al Ghurair.
With more projects in the nation and across the Gulf region, Al Ghurair Construction looks to associate its name with groundbreaking architecture that incorporates Sky-Frame, he added.
Al Ghurair said in terms of the industry’s focus on green building, Sky-Frame’s glass products are also compatible with the intense weather conditions in the Gulf.
Its most popular technology comes in a slim 20-mm profile and offers thermal and sound insulation that protects residents from external heat – reducing cooling requirements of modern buildings while offering adequate protection from the elements, he noted.
The company chief said its alliance with Sky-Frame demonstrates Al Ghurair Construction's pioneering spirit.
"After having lent its expertise to thousands of major projects across the world, Sky-Frame is making an impression in the UAE with design, installation and service and Al Ghurair Construction is thrilled to be working jointly with them on these developments," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
