Work starts on $112m housing complex in Dubai
DUBAI, May 30, 2017
Ground has been broken on a Dh410-million ($112 million) six-tower residential complex in Dubai’s fast-growing residential suburb Jumeirah Village Circle, according to its UAE-based designer Abdul Rahim Architectural Consultants (Araco).
A well-experienced engineering consultancy covering all aspects and providing comprehensive services, Araco has over 30 years of experience in the real estate sector in the UAE, and the region.
Located close to Al Barsha Fourth, the project will be built on a sprawling 100,000-sq-ft area, said a statement from the company.
The lead project design and supervision is being handled by Araco. In addition to this role, the UAE firm's scope of work includes architectural design, MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) and structural engineering and obtaining the necessary licences from all relevant bodies.
Commenting on the project, Araco general manager Rahim Lari said: "The six buildings will each comprise a ground floor, four levels of parking above ground, and 15 floors."
"These buildings will add a total of 772 apartments to JVC, consisting of 75 studio units, 655 one-bedroom apartments and 42 two-bedroom apartments," he stated.
The development will offer residents a view of the gardens and parks in JVC and will also provide integrated services such as kids play areas, fitness spaces, swimming pools, and parking for all residents.
According to Araco, the project will be completed within 17 months. To achieve this, construction on all six sites will begin simultaneously under Araco’s supervision, it stated. The buildings will be constructed by Ghantoot Gulf Contracting Company.
Araco has already completed the designs for the buildings adhering to environmental and safety standards in compliance with those adopted in the UAE and internationally.
"Our design team also took into consideration existing and future design trends, and carefully incorporated these by exploiting the internal space of the apartments, so current and future real estate market requirements can continue to be met," noted Lari.
Further, Araco has obtained approval for all plans for the buildings and the necessary licences from the relevant authorities in record time due to the combined efforts of its design engineers who have extensive experience and knowledge of the procedures, laws and regulations especially in Dubai’s free zones, he added.
The buildings are conceptualised and owned by HNI Clients Real Estate and represented by investor partner Praveen Sharma, who has vast experience in real estate development in India, the UAE and US.-TradeArabia News Service
