Leading UAE integrated facilities management firm Emrill has appointed Sally Harrison as the new head of business development and work winning.
Harrison brings with her over a decade of experience in business development, programme management and strategic development as well as a solid understanding of political frameworks developed through working for the UK Government and in various private sector roles, said a statement from Emrill.
With over 7,000 staff directly employed, Emrill offers a full range of facilities and asset management services with innovative solutions tailored to support their clients including cutting-edge energy solutions and real-time performance management systems.
She began her career with Carillion, Emrill’s UK shareholder in 2005, working as regional manager on a government energy efficiency programme.
This led to a government secondment, holding a number of senior policy positions, it stated.
Commenting on the appointment, Alex Davies, the managing director, said: "Following a thorough selection process, Sally was identified as the strongest candidate to lead Emrill’s strategic business development and work winning department through its next stage of growth."
"She will be able to apply her expertise, her inter-personal and negotiation skills along with a fresh approach and strategic edge to drive forward the development aspect of our business which is currently achieving significant year on year growth," remarked Davies.
Harrison holds a BA (Hons) in International Relations from London Guildhall University and an MA in International Studies and Diplomacy from SOAS in London, as well as a CIM Diploma in Marketing from North Tyneside College and an APM Certificate in Project Management.
