Al Faris eyes Turkish real estate market

DOHA, January 10, 2017

Al Faris Group, a Qatari firm specialising in investment and real estate marketing, has signed a partnership agreement with the Turkey-based Realty Port to boost its presence in the country's property market, said a report.

A major player in the Turkish property sector, Realty Port has a large variety of real estate projects, including apartments, villas, land and buildings all over Turkey, especially in Istanbul, Bursa, Trabzon, Antalya and other areas of the country.

The Al Faris move comes as part of its plans to provide a variety of real estate opportunities to its customers in Turkey, reported The Peninsula.

An agreement was signed in this regard by Sheikh Hashim Al Awadi, the chairman of Al Faris Group and Fateh Alrgeoffan, chairman of Realty Port.

This would be a great addition to "Al Faris Group" in the Turkish market, it stated.

With this deal, Al Faris plans to expand its base outside Qatar, especially in Turkey, which has recently experienced an influx of the Qatari investments, said the report, citing its chairman Sheikh Hashim Al Awadi.

"At a time when the Qatari investors are looking to invest in Turkey's projects, we saw the importance of expansion in this market which is rich in investment opportunities, especially in the real estate sector," he added.
