Panasonic shines in DFC aqua screen projection record

Panasonic Corporation, a global leader in the development of diverse electronics technologies, has joined hands with Dubai Festival City (DFC) to set up world’s largest aqua screen projection at the Festival Bay in the city.
Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa (PMMAF) deployed its projectors in co-ordination with its local agent, Al-Futtaim Panatech (a division of Al-Futtaim Group) for streaming multimedia shows at Dubai Festival City.
This projected image on the fountain has won the Guinness world record for the largest water screen projection on December 26.
The total surface consists of 6 Aqua screens which are approximately 36 meters wide and 13 meters high, creating a spectacular world’s largest Aqua Projection screen and will showcase innovative and spectacular shows located within the Festival Bay bringing together light, water and fire to dramatic effect using over 70 of top of the line Panasonic Projectors.
The Panasonic model PT-DZ21K2E is an impressive 20,000-lumens projector that has been designed to work in multiple broadcast environments alongside LED screen display systems, and professional sound systems, making it an ideal choice for large-scale events, said the company in its statement.
This was also used at the Moscow International Festival "Circle of Light" in 2015 and 2016. Over 200 projectors including PT-DZ21K2E created a 50,458 sq m projected image at the festival in 2016 thus setting a world record.
Recently over 110 PT-DZ21K2E projectors were used at the Rio 2016 Olympics to provide turnkey visual operations and facilitate magnificent broadcast of the games.
