ACTS opens new branch in Lebanon

BEIRUT, November 16, 2016

Advanced Construction Technology Services (ACTS), a leading consulting organisation in the field of construction materials and geotechnical engineering, has opened a new branch in Tripoli, Lebanon.

Located in Al Qalamoun area, the new facility features a hitech laboratory fully equipped to perform various field sampling and materials testing procedures, covering asphalt, concrete, soil and various other construction materials, said a statement from ACTS.

With this launch, the construction group now has three main laboratories and five engineering offices in Lebanon.

The move comes in line with the company's ongoing growth strategy and its continuing commitment to meet client needs, said a top official.

"The opening of the Tripoli branch coincides with the 20th year anniversary of ACTS. This speaks volume about our commitment to the Lebanese construction market," remarked Khaled Awad, the chairman of ACTS, said.

"It also reflects our belief that North Lebanon will witness soon a substantial rise in construction activities. ACTS will ensure it brings its 20 years and regional experience in quality control and unique know-how in testing to Lebanon second capital and the whole north," noted Awad.

Since its establishment in 1996, ACTS has been going from strength to strength leading the way in raising the quality standards for the construction industry, becoming, in fact, the preferred third-party provider in the region for geotechnical engineering, materials testing, and consulting, he added.

A major player in the region, ACTS said it has worked on some of the most ambitious projects in the region including Riyadh Metro, King Abdulaziz International Airport, Doha Metro and Kingdom Tower, the world’s first kilometre-high skyscraper being constructed in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Awad pointed out that the company was planning to enter new GCC markets and hoped to announce a new market entry by year end.

"We have successfully expanded our reach over the years and this has enabled us to significantly grow our business. Our expansion strategy set for 2020 is very much on track," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
