The novel Abermove tool covers the pool once swimmers are out and turns it into a free, usable space.

Abermove unveils safety solutions for swimming pools

LONDON, November 12, 2016

Abermove, a leading European company in security and building solutions, unveiled its new solution which helps reduce drowning risks in swimming pools at home or in schools.

It has invented a solid retractable enclosure that covers the pool once swimmers are out and turns it into a free, usable space. The covered areas can then be used as leisure or playground, or be included into the greenery that embellishes yards around houses or facilities.

The new innovation will provide maximum security for families at home or for any facilities where pools are available, combining a safe environment with space optimization and practicality, said a statement from the company.

Abermove obtained a patent for its new product which covers swimming pools and other water features by using a retractable cover that can be closed or opened within seconds via remote control.

The company had previously announced plans to introduce its product to the GCC region beginning with the UAE, where it will promote its cutting edge enclosures to limit the risks of kids drowning in swimming pools in the near future via established distributors.

On its new find, Abermove CEO Rui Bernardes said that the company’s experts have carried out a safe solutions study in order to limit drowning accidents in swimming pools around the world, in houses, academic facilities or public clubs which admit children, or are open 24/7 and cannot be easily monitored or secured.

"Abermove’s solid retractable enclosures can stand the weight of furnitures and even cars because they are built from sturdy, high-end material. They have been tested by competent authorities in Portugal, and have been granted manufacturing and marketing licenses after obtaining an international patent," he explained.

Abermove said the customers can choose from a variety of enclosures, ranging from a parking space, to green lawns, an elegant wooden platform, or clear glass enhancing a glowing body of water underfoot.

"This new invention is highly environmental, as it maintains pool water temperature, eliminating the need for coolers or heaters, it keeps insects out when not in use, and reduces the instances of water-changing because it stays clean for longer periods since it is sealed off," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
