Egypt on track to complete 7,690 residential units

The Egyptian government is all set to complete work on 7,690 social housing units in Beheira governorate in the Nile Delta, said a report.
These projects include a number of housing units and projects of drinking water, sewage, and developing areas at a cost of E£2.7 billion ($174 million), reported Amwal Alghad, citing the Minister of Housing Mostafa Madbouly.
The ministry is implementing a number of social housing development projects in Beheira, he stated.
Madbouly said the government was also developing a project in Kassara area in Rosetta, at a cost of E£21.31 million ($1.38 million). The project, which involves building 120 housing units, is likely to be completed in June next year.
