DUBAI, October 30, 2016
UAE-based Pravarthi Building Contracting has announced the opening of its new headquarters, a 22,000-sq-ft facility at the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) in Dubai.
Pravarthi is a specialist in building quality industrial premises for UAE construction projects that combine office space with engineering projects involving specialist knowledge of reinforced concrete.
Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan inaugurated the facility in the presence of Mohammad Al Muallem, the managing director and senior vice president at Dubai Ports World, Madiha Salem, the director of Environmental Health and Safety Department at Trakhees, and T Raveendran, the mayor of the south Indian city of Kozhikode in Kerala.
The new facility would be the centre for production and trading of fire protection equipment.
A special 6,500-sq-ft Vibrant Zone has been set up with badminton courts, sheesha corner and full-fledged facility for relaxation and friendly meets.
The new company headquarters, which boasts a 10,000-sq-ft dedicated fire protection services area, would be the hub of activities for Pravarthi Fire Protection and operational as the chairman’s office for Pravarthi Group. Further expansion to this facility will be done after one year.
Speaking about the Vibrant Zone, Vivek Kallidil, the managing director, said: "I envision for a different return on investment which is not monetary-based but a new community in the corporate world based on enhanced long-standing relations, with more smiles on the faces. This is just a beginning for the Pravarthi Group and more is yet to come."
According to him, Pravarthi is a market leader in the provision of green and sustainable construction solutions for industrial, residential, commercial, and institutional facilities in the region.
"The new venture is aimed at eliminating tense conference room talks and instead giving the corporate world a relaxed ambience for happy relationships. No across the table situations, but across the net situations in the badminton courts, where more personal bonding would be developed," he explained.
"The facility also caters as a recreation facility to all Pravarthi employees, family and friends, adding more to the happiness index of the group," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
