Ras Al Khaimah-based RAKtherm, a leading internationally certified brand of innovative piping systems, has devised a growth plan to further increase its international footprint in response to growing global market demand for high technology piping solutions.

The three-pronged plan comprises investment in capital expenditures, market dominance strategies, and product innovation which has resulted in a 34 per cent increase in production capacity, the company said.

This has ensured adequate global supply, strengthening of resources for wider market penetration and reinforced an already extensive distribution network in 35 countries worldwide, it added.

RAKtherm, an affiliate of Saudi Arabia-based Hashim Group, is a leader in PPR (polypropylene) and PEX (crosslinked polyethylene) piping systems.

The company announced investments worth $200 million in capital expenditures last year for technology enhancement, equipment modernisation, and for launching the new innovative piping systems, added Hashim.

RAKtherm utilises advanced German technology and its in-house engineering teams’ expertise to deliver the most modern high-performance piping systems with a service life of 50 years to support major MEP projects across GCC, North and South Africa, South and East Asia, and Europe, it said.

RAKtherm products are engineered and manufactured with high precision that are tested, conformed and certified by DVGW, CSTB, SKZ, HY, and TUV, affirming the highest level of efficiency, functionality, and performance.
 
The company set a new industry standard with the launch of anti-UV (ultraviolet) fittings registered by the German Laboratory Institute and it continues to be the only manufacturer with this product offering, it said.
