Over 35pc Mideast firms to outsource FM services

DUBAI, September 20, 2016

The facilities management (FM) market in the Middle East is poised for tremendous growth in the coming years as over 35 per cent of the companies plan to completely outsource their FM services, said a survey ahead of an industry expo in Dubai, UAE.

Middle East Cleaning Technology Week (MECTW), which runs from November 13 to 15, will bring together cleaning service providers, equipment, and chemicals suppliers who will discuss trends and showcase green cleaning products and innovations.

The survey conducted by the British Institute of Facilities Management on the Middle East market also found that 60 per cent of the respondents expect more outsourcing of FM operations in the future.

Isnaad, a wholly owned subsidiary of leading integrated facilities management company Imdaad, will be showcasing its key solutions at the upcoming event.

As the official specialised cleaning service pavilion partner, Isnaad aims to introduce its soft FM services that are primed for growth, especially in Dubai, as the emirate is getting ready for Expo 2020.

Jamal Abdullah Lootah, CEO of Imdaad, said: "As the market looks to welcome a huge influx of visitors, the need for an efficient partner to meet the growing demand in specialised cleaning sector will be high, especially by 2020."

"This provides us huge opportunity to offer our specialised cleaning and related soft FM services including cleaning and janitorial, lifeguard, concierge, front office, help desk, housekeeping, and laundry, among others," he noted.

Lootah pointed out that MECTW was an ideal platform and a perfect opportunity for Isnaad to expand its reach in the Middle East cleaning industry.

“The new pavilions at Clean Middle East Pulire (CMEP) on specialised cleaning, sewerage and sanitation, as well as waste management will give us further leverage to showcase our innovations,” he stated.

Jayaraman Nair, the chairman of the event organiser VIS Exhibitions and Conferences, said, "We are pleased to welcome Isnaad as an official partner for our Specialised Cleaning Service Pavilion at MECTW. Isnaad is a key player in the facility management industry in the Middle East, which is one of the world’s leading commercial cleaning market."

"Over the years, MECTW has evolved as a perfect platform for brands to promote themselves in this competitive and growing region. It also brings together all industry players to exchange ideas and showcase innovative solutions," he added.

The event will feature new pavilions dedicated to waste management, sewerage, and sanitation, and specialised cleaning for 2016.

It features three platforms - Gulf Laundrex and Linen Care Expo; Gulf Car Wash and Car Care Expo as well as the Clean Middle East Pulire.-TradeArabia News Service
