Hill named project manager for Abu Dhabi tower

PHILADELPHIA, September 1, 2016

Hill International, a global leader in managing construction risk, said it has won a contract from Al Fouad Group to provide project management services in connection with the design and construction of Helios Towers in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The four-year contract has an estimated value to Hill of Dh14.1 million ($3.8 million).

The mixed-use development entails construction of two skyscrapers - a 62-storey residential tower and a 46-storey commercial office tower - accommodating 620 residential units, approximately 53,000 sq m of office space, 5,600 sq m of retail space, and parking for nearly 1,800 vehicles, said the US company in its statement.

The project will feature such amenities as swimming pools, a health club and beauty spa, gymnasium and residents club, as well as direct access to the beach, it added.

Commenting on the win, Mohammed Al Rais, the regional president (Middle East) for Hill's Project Management Group, said: "We look forward to helping Al Fouad deliver this ambitious project."

"Helios Towers will be an important commercial and residential addition to the growing Abu Dhabi skyline," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
